I like chest to bar, more ROM = more work done. It also seems more functional in real world situations. I would think it would help with the muscle-up progression as well.

I think chest to bar is a great ROM that encourages high power output. For strength gains, weighted dead hang pullups are my favorite.

My vote is chest to bar - I barely get my chin over the bar as it is. Since I need to work may as well aim for 100%
