What to wear and other info...
Located in the heart of sunny San Diego, CrossFit SoCal will be hosting the San Diego/Arizona Sectional on March 27 and 28, 2010. The 5,000 square foot gym and parking lot will serve as the venue for the event allowing for both indoor and outdoor competition. Sign up quickly as there are spaces available for one 100 men and 100 women! San Diego and Arizona boast some of the fittest men and women on the planet. Two of the top ten affiliate teams from last years games are from this region. So, the competition will be fierce this year!
March could be a mixed bag in Southern California, so wear layers. The weather could have you in a light warm-up outfit for the early morning and no shirt and board shorts by noon. Make sure you bring plenty of SPF and your sun glasses. We do have showers at the gym should anyone get overheated. However, they will be for emergency use only.
We would love volunteers! Please contact Jessica at jessica@crossfitsocal.com if you would like to sign up to help out. We will have a volunteer meeting at 5pm on Friday, March 26. We will need judges, set up and staging equipment, registration, crowd control and parking, score keepers and first aide.
Remember, judges and volunteers will not have to pay an admission fee! There are still spots available, so sign up soon!
Please contact me at adam@crossfitsocal.com for any other questions.

Any chance you could post a list of registered competitors at some point? With all the website problems that first day, I'm probably not the only one who's at least a little worried about getting left off by mistake.

Hey Eric,
We will be receiving the list from HQ. Haven't found out when yet, but as soon as we do we'll put the info out.
If you had your account charged for the full $100 (like mine was) then you should have received a confirmation.
Here is the link describing what to do if you haven't been contacted yet.http://games2010.crossfit.com/qualifiers/registration-site-update.html
Good luck!

I'd like to know what time do the events start at. My fiance and I want to go spectate.

According to the schedule they just sent to competitors yesterday, the first heat starts at 8am both days.

The cost to spectate is $25 for adults only? or do kids under a certain age get in free?

Is there any way I can switch with a competitor who is no longer competing, and get my name on the roster instead?
